S3E15 Best example of producing a podcast from a live event

View descriptionShare

If you're a festival organiser or you're holding an event with talented speakers and intriguing topics, have you thought of recording the sessions for those who can't attend? It expands the life of the event well beyond the days of the festival or presentation.

Melbourne Food & Wine, one of Australia's best known and largest food festivals, approached BE to produce a podcast from its 2019 Theatre of Ideas talk sessions. The speakers were a mix of local and international restaurateurs, food writers and wine connoisseurs. We hear from Emma Breheny, Content Manager of Melbourne Food & Wine about the practicalities of repurposing talk sessions into a podcast series and how it fits in with their larger content strategy.
