Q&A: Relationships, supplements, daily protein intake, minimalist shoes, correct sprint workouts

I respond to some great comments from listeners in this Q&A show!

We are starting off with John Gray’s famous essential male and female relationship assignments, what supplements I am taking (and not taking) these days, and how protein intake warnings have been refuted (10 eggs a day is okay!).

I also answer a question about the minimalist shoe fad–is it dead, or is barefoot the way to go? You will learn how elevated, cushioned shoes enable poor form and are the driving cause of injuries and finally, what the optimal duration for high impact and for low impact sprinting is.

In referring to Brad’s ideal of 20 second maximum when sprinting, the questioner asks, “should I sprint for longer if I have excess body fat and need to burn more calories?” And the answer is absolutely not. [41:55]

Patricia is asking about the amount of time one should use HIIT. [48:25]
