Podcast 7Youth Academy
The third annual youth academy has kicked off in Kigali Rwanda under the theme: "Youth Contribution to Prevent and Mitigate Electoral and Political Violence in African Countries". The academy is hosted by the department of Political Affairs of the African Union Commission and the Africa and West Asia Programme of the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance, in partnership with the African Governance Architecture Secretariat and the National Consultative Forum of Political Organizations in Rwanda. This year's Youth Academy has an objective to provide a platform for young politicians to reflect on and discuss the root causes of electoral and political violence in their respective countries amongst others.
