Recent years of domestic violence advocacy and protest have fallen from prominence as rates of fatalities decrease. But away from the east coast policy is changing and organisations are pushing to keep the momentum going. South Australia established the only Royal Commission into family, domestic and sexual violence in the country which handed down its final report earlier this year. Can we expect governments across the country to take further action or will it fall on the community sector to step up?
