After 5 years as the National Children's Commissioner, Anne Hollonds has been a first-hand witness to the slow pace of change in politics, even when it's a matter of keeping young Australians safe. While the social media ban for under-16s suggests there is the ability to move quickly, it seems pretty unlikely the government will keep up the momentum and confront shortfalls in child safety.
