The California DMV is slashing Cruise's driverless fleet, following recent crashes in San Francisco.

This comes soon after driverless cars were recently given the okay to expand operations in the city.

George Jacob, The head of the Aquarium of the Bay in San Francisco resigned under pressure on Wednesday following concerns from staff  that centered around his extravagant spending on travel and events, including hosting a concert in Dubai.

CEO of S.F.’s waterfront aquarium resigns amid concerns about lavish spending

Usually at this time, we'd be joined by KCBS Insider Phil Matier but Phil is away today. 

The city of Oakland says it's selling it's half-ownership of the Oakland Coliseum to a local Black development group for at least $105 million dollars. The African American Sports & Entertainment Group says it's also been in talks to buy the other half, which is currently owned by Oakland A's owner John Fisher.

The group calls it a chance to revitalize East Oakland with plans for affordable housing, retail and green space, and possibly a home to another professional sports team.

As we've been reporting, a fire burned the home of a longtime San Francisco dog walker who was also recently targeted by racist threats.
