The city of Oakland says it's selling it's half-ownership of the Oakland Coliseum to a local Black development group for at least $105 million dollars. The African American Sports & Entertainment Group says it's also been in talks to buy the other half, which is currently owned by Oakland A's owner John Fisher.
The group calls it a chance to revitalize East Oakland with plans for affordable housing, retail and green space, and possibly a home to another professional sports team.
