Anxious to learn the answer Phill Humphries, of Drinking with Phill and Mags, visited the Hambledon vineyard to ask how this year's harvest is looking.

Hambledon vineyard is not only our closest vineyard but it is the oldest commercial vineyard in the UK.  This week they are starting to harvest the grapes that will make their sparkling wine.

Will there be enough wine to go around?

It's a  tough time in the football for our Petersfield sides right now as the men are knocked out of 2 cup competitions last week and the women's side are looking for their first point since being bumped up 2 divisions to Hampshire Division 2 last season. It's back to league action for the men this week as they take on tough opponents Hamble away on Tuesday and then welcome Brockenhurst to the Smartspaces Stadium on Saturday. the Shine Radio team were at the game petersfieldtownfc.co.uk . As for women's side, it's a tricky fixture against a gritty Romsey side. There's no 2 ways of saying it but Liss are in freefall just now and points are rare as are goals. Can they turn around their fortunes as they play an out-of-sorts side in Crofton Saints at the West Leigh stadium. https://www.pitchero.com/clubs/lissathletic/. Liphook United are arguably our most in form side as it stands although predicting which side turns up at matches is a bit of a fool's game.
