Richard Warton, who died in August this year, was a former chairman of Petersfield Heath, in office from 2015 to 2023, where he contributed greatly to caring for the Heath, its ecology and wildlife.

With the agreement of Richard’s family, Petersfield’s Tree Warden, Robin Hart, composed a tribute to his friend, in praise of his contribution to an important part of Petersfield.
