Born and raised in Steep Joe wasn't aware of the deep history of his hometown but having moved away and written extensively about Bristol's history and the lesser known civil war during the 12th century Joe stumbled upon the origin story of our town. having been granted the lands around present day Petersfield Robert of Gloucester founded the charter for the market we enjoy to this very day. we take a deep dive into back story of this area with Joe who is a writer and Journalist having written for publications such as Vice and the Bristol Cable.
