Helen Sill is an artist, designer and academic whose lifelong love of textiles has led her to a PhD exploring how stitches and techniques are passed down through generations of women. Chair of Liss in Stitches, Helen has been inspired by the group’s creativity and encouragement, and she now helps lead their biennial exhibition. As part of Hampshire Open Studios, her own work can also be seen at Rushes Road, where a whole community of artists is opening its doors this summer.
