On Wednesday 1 July - in Wimbledon week - the Mayor Councillor Jamie Matthews, cut the ribbon to reopen the four courts in the Avenue playing fields.

Mike Waddington attended the event and we hear from Project Manager Steve Field( at the beginning), Councillor Anne Stephenson who Chairs the Council's Recreation Committee and the Head of PE at TPS who brought students to try it out.

Rochelle Halliday, the Town Clerk explains how it was funded and wht the new charge is for.
