Wendy Rees, a Managing Director from the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, responds to criticisms raised about Rowan Ward and the new model of care they wish to consult on.

In a statement to Shine Radio she says  they wish to be transparent about the proposals and encourage people to read them and comment  on their website.  They say there will be no job losses from the proposal to close the Ward. They are also in the process of arranging events and are  looking to hold a virtual gathering soon – saying, “ those who attended the drop-in the other day welcomed that offer”.
