Steve White and his son Lewis, run the Petersfield Cobblers on Chapel Street and it’s been there for almost 30 years.

Steve himself has been in the business for 45 years and loves the work and the people - over the years he’s been invited to weddings and sadly funerals.

He speaks to Mike Waddington about the work, the machinery and his love for it all.

Local news for Tuesday 10th March

With just 4 games of the season to go, Petersfield rugby club are hot on the heels of the Old Tottonians for a finishing position of 5th in the league. In so doing, they would find themselves in the play-offs for promotion. But standing in their way are the Old Tiffinians this weekend a team that has truly shown their mettle in this league campaign and beat Petersfield convincingly back in November. https://www.petersfieldrfc.club/ . Petersfield the Rams mens side are still looking for their first league point since the turmoil of departures with coach and players in January.
