Typical Savoyard cooking is from the Chamonix Mont-Blanc and is based on cheese and potatoes.

It includes Fondue, Raclette and La Tartiflette. All very cheesy.

Recipe abroad: Quick and easy Raclette from Chamonix, France comes to Petersfield

Homestart Butser and its 80 volunteers supported 263 families and 365 people in the last year.

They raise all their own funds. 

For one week only -  from 3 to 10 December -  every pound donated to them that week  is doubled by another organisation. 

Put the date in the diary; whatever you donate that week (and that week only) is doubled - making your generosity even more valuable to them.

Homestart’s Nicola Winter spoke to Mike Waddington about  the Big Give Challenge and their work across Petersfield and surrounding areas, to give families facing difficulties practical help.
