Little Town Choir goes from strength to strength

This week in men's football, it's the big local derby as Liss welcome Liphook in a much anticipated tie. Liphook are in a relegation battle desperate for points and Liss need to keep their return to form on track as they head to final run of the season. Cllr Richard Millard shared his disappointment with Shine Radio as the recent decision from the Government to split East Hampshire into two new mainland authorities.

From 2028 all the councils in Hampshire will be dissolved and five new unitary councils will be established.

He warns the overhaul is “politically driven”, risks financial instability and favours urban areas, whilst failing our rural communities.

Leader of EHDC criticises Local Government Reorganisation

Dianna Wallsgrove has self-published a historical novel - Going Back - about time travel and communities 2,000 years ago, amidst climate change and invasion. 

She’s a volunteer at the Museum and was inspired by a vision on the Heath. 

Speaking to Mike Waddington she talks about the book, her approach to writing and recommends the Writers Group that meets on a Tuesday afternoon at One Tree Books.
