Cllr Richard Millard shared his disappointment with Shine Radio as the recent decision from the Government to split East Hampshire into two new mainland authorities.
From 2028 all the councils in Hampshire will be dissolved and five new unitary councils will be established.
He warns the overhaul is “politically driven”, risks financial instability and favours urban areas, whilst failing our rural communities.
