This month Joff & Geoff are reminiscing about the past and what made them happy.

Across a jam packed 30 minutes there are references to Bagpipes in music, Les Dawson, Swanage, Antiques Roadshow and Larry Grayson?!

If you have a topic you'd like Joff & Geoff to discuss please send an email to team@shineradio.uk or contact us via our website at https://shineradio.uk

Petersfield’s favourite grumpy old men share what’s been getting up their respective noses.

Potholes driving you potty? Verges vexing you? Dog mess making a poopocalypse in your parish? Perhaps a chatty podcast by two middle aged men can help.

Enjoy a dose of light-hearted banter, feelgood fun and cathartic middle-aged offloadin’ with Joff Lacey and Geoff Wootton.

You can contact Joff and Geoff via our website at https://shineradio.uk or call, text or WhatsApp 01730 555 500.

Lester Vacances is one of the people making up the packed - and tough - busking scene in Petersfield, with his easy listening trombone jazz.

Lester speaks to Mike Waddington about what he does and why and also some of the downsides to the work when you want to be a professional musician and Lester has been playing and performing for 30 years. He explains why he is encouraged by Miles Davis.

A busker's story

The Sandy Close Group have brought Halloween back bigger than before at the Petersfield Bookshop, over three days -  29, 30 and 31 October - hoping to top last year's 1,000 jumping attendees.

Justin Ballard tells us the plan - but not all of it  - and also talks about his tool and kitchenania business (on Chapel Street) in the new layout of the Petersfield Bookshop.

The Bookshop's Rob says on the changes made, “the more they change the more they stay the same.”
