Food waste caddies arrive across the district

On Saturday 26 September, from 10am till 2pm,  a number of voluntary organisations  are setting up stalls at Winton House on the High Street so you can find out about volunteering.

Many roles are available for whatever time you have.

 We hear about it from Pippa Charlier (Winton House) and Nicola Winter (Home Start Butser) abd volunteers Ginny, Jane, John and Fran.

Local news for Friday 18th September

It was balloons, nibbles and cooking at Signature Kitchen's event on Thursday 17 September.

Paul Beasley, the owner, and son Keiron Turner - the designer - speak to Mike Waddington about the event and the business; Signature Kitchens has been on the High Street for 14 years and Paul has worked in the industry for 35.

It was a trip down memory line for our reporter and talk of technological change was demonstrated by Ally, a Home Economist, who took customers through Air Fryers,  now in ovens, and programmes that make cooking a lot easier,.by calculating times and temperatures for you at the push of a button!

The High Street is important to Petersfield and this event expressed, despite tough times, confidence in the future..
