An update from Petersfield charity, Maddy's Mark

How are rehearsals shaping up for Marital Mayhem - and what can audiences expect from this witty collection of short plays about love, relationships and everything in between?

Shine Radio’s Joff Lacey has been along to meet members of the Lion & Unicorn Players cast as they put the finishing touches to the production. Joff is also appearing in the show, so he gets a unique insider’s perspective on the challenges, laughs and last-minute surprises that come with bringing a multi-play evening to life.

Featuring sharp writing from celebrated playwrights including Alan Ayckbourn and Faye Weldon, Marital Mayhem promises an entertaining night of comedy and drama. The production is touring local venues this week, with performances in Sheet, Stroud and Petersfield.

Lion & Unicorn cast look ahead to opening night of Marital Mayhem

In football, Petersfield the Rams men's side have to play an incredible 3 games in the space of 4 days. Still awaiting their first league points under new coach Rich Bessey, we report on their games with  Hythe, Downton and Bournemouth. https://www.petersfieldtownfc.co.uk/ . Finally Liss Athletic put on a home game as they come back from the road. In the Sportlight 16th March

More than one hundred exhibitors put on a show of the future for students at Churcher's College.

The event was an opportunity to explore careers, university life, volunteering and gap year options.

Guest speakers included Dr Daniel Stewart who turned his education in chemistry into an innovative business venture.

You'll also hear Rich from Google, Alice from George Ide solicitors, Kirsty Verney from Churcher's College, Samantha from the Royal Navy, photographer Hester, Larissa of the King's Arms, Ed of Petersfield-based nanobrewery Algebrew, Rachel from NATS

Students from several year groups at the Petersfield senior school were invited - you'll hear Lucinda, Torquil, Holly, Amelie, Edie and Clemie - and some from the Liphook junior school came along too.

Shine Radio's Stephen Martin and Jo Gray were there to capture a flavour of the evening, meet the participants and find out what some of the students got out of it.
