Also, nearly two years after his death, an investigation determined police did not commit any criminal offences during the arrest of 40-year old Boden Umpherville in Prince Albert and their use of force was appropriate.

Throughout her life, and as the Indigenous Perspectives Consultant with Saskatchewan Rivers Public School Division, Theresa has had the privilege of learning alongside numerous Elders and Knowledge Keepers. Over her twenty years in Education, she has sought to honour their teachings by integrating Indigenous Worldview into the public education system.

As part of Indigenous Storytelling Month, Thorsen shares the story of Wesakejack and the Chickadees.
