West of Boynton Beach, the connector road that allows residents to bypass heavily congested Boynton Beach Boulevard reopened late Thursday. Motorists use the east-west road to get to and from Lyons and Acme Dairy roads. It allows access to Canyon Town Center without traveling on Boynton Beach Boulevard. The part of the road that provided access from Acme Dairy Road has been closed since late April to facilitate construction of a roundabout, a circular intersection that will guide traffic around a central island into and out of the new park.
