International Mother Language Day is observed worldwide to promote awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity and promote multilingualism.  This years theme is ‘Using Technology for multilingual learning: Challenges and Opportunities’.

The Pasifika Education Centre is a recognised Pacific centre of excellence for Pacific language revitalisation, cultural knowledge and advocacy across Aotearoa and throughout the Pacific region.
