Aired on radio 19/08/2025:  This week as we celebrate Uike Kātoanga’i ‘o e lea faka-Tonga – Tonga Language Week we talk with members from our community who are actively preserving Tongan culture and language.

Today we’re joined by Milika Pusiaki, the founder of Fe’unu Koula Academy of Tongan Arts, Dance and Culture, a cultural dance and arts academy that has been nurturing and passing on Tongan traditions to younger generations.

Through her work, Milika has been instrumental in keeping Tongan dance, song, and attire alive—not just as performance, but as a living expression of identity and heritage.
