The Fono, a health and wellbeing group that serves Pacific communities in Auckland and Northland, has been working overtime to mobilise medical support and other resources to Pacific families who have tested positive amid the recent resurgence of Covid-19 and those they have come in close contact with.

Tevita Funaki has been the Chief Executive Officer of The Fono Trust since July 2010

Other roles he holds include;

•         Chairman of the Pacific Business Trust;
•         Chairman of ProCare Health Ltd, biggest Primary Health Care Organisation with over 100,000 enrolled Pacific patients;
•         Chairman of the Ministry of Social Development Pacific Governance Group;
•         Member of Minister Salesa Pacific Expert Advisory Panel
•         Member of the Police Commissioner National Pacific board;
•         Chairman of Unitec Fono Faufautua Committee;

Tevita was born in Auckland and raised in Tonga.  He is married to Maninoa and they have been blessed with four children
