Tania Sharkey is a lawyer who practices in Manukau, South Auckland and is the President of the Pacific Lawyers Association.  She specialises in Family law, and in particular, the area of care and protection for our children and young people.

This year Tania was appointed by the Solicitor-General as Lead Counsel Assisting for the Pacific Investigation in the Royal Commission of Inquiry: Abuse in Care.

She is here on behalf of the Royal Commission to talk to us about the Inquiry, the Pacific investigation and how it affects our people.
