Today is World Cancer Day, led by the Union for International Cancer Control, it is all about raising worldwide awareness, improving education and a collective call to action on cancer prevention and access to life-saving treatment, no matter who you are and where you live. Many in our community have lost a loved one to cancer. As Pacific, there are studies that show the inequalities in our health system prevent or delay our community from accessing cancer care and treatment.
