The FijiVillage reported on Monday that seven politicians who were taken in for questioning by officers from the Criminal Investigations Department & subsequently all had been released.
Acting Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu says they were taken in for questioning in relation to their statements on the Bill to amend the iTaukei Land Trust Act.
Meanwhile, the Human Rights and Anti-Discrimination Commission is liaising with Police on its investigations pertaining to the members of Parliament.
