Well-being starts at home. Establishing consistent routines, setting clear expectations, and creating space for open conversations about emotions can make a real difference. Taking time to connect with your child — even through simple moments of play — helps build confidence, trust, and a strong foundation for learning.

Parents and caregivers play a key role in encouraging students to prioritise their education and attend school regularly. Every day at school provides opportunities to gain knowledge, develop new skills, and build meaningful relationships with teachers and peers. These daily experiences help shape not only academic success, but also a sense of belonging, purpose, and future pathways.

It’s important to remember that all children under the age of 16 are required to attend school every day unless they are unwell. Consistent attendance supports long-term success — opening doors to career opportunities, lifelong friendships, and personal growth.
