Join Teokotai Tarai (Tokoroa High School) and Josephine Ivirangi (Sir Edmund Hillary Collegiate), speaking in Te Reo Māori Kūki ‘Āirani, as they explore the Government’s education priorities and what it means for learners and families.

In Week 3, they cover:
• Priorities to lift student achievement
• A clearer, knowledge-rich national curriculum
• Updates to literacy and numeracy
• Assessment and reporting changes
• Improved teacher training and learning support
• The ongoing NCEA review and new Level 1 standards
• What’s changing for Years 0–10 from 2026

The session also highlights the importance of attendance, participation, and supporting learning at home.
