Today, we’re joined by Lealailepule Edward Cowley, who shares the story of the iconic Staircase Bar told as he transforms into his glamorous drag persona Buckwheat. Lealailepule aka Buckwheat - Is a Staunch Pacific Drag Diva towering in at over 6ft 5, Buckwheat is friendly, charming and has mentertained her way around the world many times over, with over 35 years in the business.
As Edward, he has worked in the health sector for upwards of quarter of a century and is passionate about Pacific peoples and those who work with Pacific peoples to raise the health and welfare of Paific peoples through sharing, listening via education, leadership and advocacy.
