Jonathan Fa'afetai Lemalu is a world renown New Zealand bass baritone opera singer born in Dunedin to Samoan parents. 

With more than 8 months of cancelled work due to COVID-19, Jonathan has been working on an exciting and innovative project over the last 5 months to produce a series of 4 biographical episodes detailing his musical journey from a 10yr old Dunedin chorister to a Grammy award winning operatic bass on the international stage.

The project is in association with New Zealand's Arts Foundation and Boosted campaign – Aotearoa’s only crowdfunding platform for the arts.

The four episodes are almost four hours of rare and unique, personal and candid insight of Jonathan’s life and opera career.  Interspersed with 17 of his favourite songs and arias all recorded in London, no mean feat given the Covid19 social distancing and restrictions.
