Fiso John Fiso was appointed Chair of the Pacific Cooperation Foundation Board in July 2020. 

He has extensive governance and executive management experience in education, health and economic development sectors. John's extensive experience includes board membership of Ako Aotearoa, Volleyball NZ, Chairman of ITENZ - the Independent Tertiary Education providers of NZ, board positions with the Pacific Business Trust, CEO of New Zealand Institute of Sport, Chairman of Fiso Investment Group and Chairman of the NZ College of Massage.

John was awarded the NZ Order of Merit for services to sport, education and the Pasifika community and was named Wellingtonian of the Year for services to education in 2016.

He is also the chairman of Pacific Health Plus, the only Pacific healthcare provider in Porirua, and is passionate about improving access to medical services, bringing greater accountability and positive change to the health sector.
