A year ago the Mika family were faced with adversity following the loss of their nine year old son Josiah to a rare form of epilepsy.   

The family has found a way to rise above adversity, exuberate resilience, flourish and shine together.  On Saturday night family and friends gathered for the launch of the Rise & Shine-Josiah Mika Foundation.
