We're joined now on #PacificDays by Captain of the Hōkūleʻa Mark Ellis, to talanoa about the Moananuiākea voyage which will cover 43,000 nautical miles over a 47-months circumnavigation of the Pacific. The vaka will visit 36 countries and archipelagoes, as well as nearly 100 indigenous territories, and 345 ports.
