Manu Sina Samoa women’s rugby are going into this weekend’s crucial World Cup Repechage match against Tonga tomorrow, with a number of players making their international debut.  Head Coach Ramsey Tomokino has been putting the team through its paces with the starting lineup to be named this morning.

One of the starting team hopefuls is Gene Solia Gibb who has represented Samoa in the World Cup and at Commonwealth Games but as a netball star.  A long term Wellington netball player, she was part of the team that won the NPC title in 2016.  She captained Samoa at the Netball World Cup 2019.

Gene is in camp with the Manu Sina Samoa team in Auckland training and she joins us live on the line.  Talofa Lava Gene what’s the mood in camp at the moment? Gene was captain for Worlds Samoa netball last year.
