The Miss Universe New Zealand pageant was held over the weekend in Auckland with 13 contestants vying for the crown. It’s been described as the most tightly contested Miss Universe NZ in years, so close was the competition, in fact, that the five judges had to deliberate away from the audience several times during the show.
