Hailing from the villages of Mulifanua and Asaga in Samoa, Faumuina Felolini Maria Tafuna’i is the daughter of Mau’u Lopeti and Nivaga.
Faumuina is an award-winning journalist and ocean voyager who has been developing wayfinding programmes for strategy, business, resilience and suicide prevention.
She has worked in media, iwi communications, and development projects throughout the Pacific Islands. She is the founder of Flying Geese Pro and was the first Pacific Island person to become an Edmund Hillary Fellow in 2018.
