One of South Auckland’s finest rugby players will be honoured and acknowledged this year at the Otara Sports Awards. The late Papali’itele Peter “Fats” Fatialofa will be inducted into the awards’ Hall of Fame this year for his sporting contribution. He will also be inducted into the World Rugby Hall of Fame in Japan next month.
