Esmeralda Lo Tam is founder of EI8HT SPORTS with a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Post-graduate diploma and Masters in Public Health (Hons.) and majored in Pacific Health. In 2016 she moved to Samoa where she started her own social enterprise in 2018.
Pitching her start-up business idea at the inaugural Youth Co:Lab Apia and placed in the top 5 candidates which enabled her to represent Samoa and the Pacific in Beijing China at the UNDP Youth Co:Lab in 2018. She was the only Pacific winner through to the finals and was awarded the 2018 Asia Pacific Youth SDG Innovative Award.
EI8HT SPORTS teamed up with Inspiring Stories to promote online scholarships to Pacific participants for the Festival for the Future Summit. Esmeralda joins us live from Australia,
