Muliagasisila Dr. Fa'afetai Faaleava recently completed his doctorate degree in clinical psychology (Psy.D.) from Alliant International University in San Francisco, California (U.S.A).  His passion to provide mental health services to the incarcerated population stems from wanting to help those in society who have been demonized and forgotten. 

Dr. Faaleava’s training has primarily been within the prisons (juvenile halls and adult systems).   In 2019-2020, Dr. Faaleava completed his pre-doctoral internship in Illinois at a state facility that housed youth offenders up to the age of 21 years old.   He also enjoys working with the Samoan and Pacific Islander communities on projects relating to mental health.
