The Society of St Vincent de Paul is an international Lay Catholic organisation dedicated to the care of people through the provision of practical help and face to face services. Young Vinnies is the youth sector of the organisation that seeks to provide young people with opportunities to live out their faith in action through the service of others.

Yesterday, Young Vinnies hosted Ministers of the crown Hon Peeni Henare and Hon Carmel Sepuloni for the first time.
