The magnitude of gender based violence incidence in Papua New Guinea is considered by some to be of epidemic proportions

 David Lawrence is a youth worker with ten years experience volunteering for youth organisations and is an advisor for international affairs to the Director General of National Youth Development Authority in PNG.

David hosts a podcast “Yut Tok with David Aoneka Lawrence” where conversations are held once a month 

He also leads a community initiative #MenandBoysToo which is an event that brings men and boys together during 16 days of Activism as a safe space to discuss all forms of Violence that affects society and to redefine masculinity in Papua New Guinea.
