Bart English is a business analyst who works for Pasifika Futures.  He studied Politics and Psychology at the University of Otago and graduated in 2017.  Bart spent the first two years in the workforce at the Human Rights Commission, after interning there in disability rights for 4 months. 

Bart is a published author and enthusiastic poet who is passionate about empowering communities and giving Pacific communities tools to determine what they need and how to use them to better their own lives. 

Bart is of Samoan, Italian and Irish descent and feels that his palagi appearance and infrequent exposure to Pacific culture has laid the foundations of an interesting path to solidifying his Pacific identity.
