Barbara Edmonds is a mother of eight, a specialist tax lawyer, and community fanatic. Titahi Bay, Porirua has been home to Barbara, husband Chris (Nga Puhi) and their eight children, for the last 12 years.

Barbara has a wealth of experience and a unique set of skills. At one level, day-to-day, she is a senior advisor to a Government Minister and was a key contributor to the Government’s law reforms following the March 15 Terror Attacks. She’s proud of her work in helping to make Aotearoa, New Zealand a safer place.

Most recently, Barbara has been heavily involved in the Government’s tax, social policy, small business and economic responses to COVID-19.

Barbara is also the Labour candidate for Mana.
