A range of measures will be put in place to help make it safe for voters and election workers to take part in the 2020 General Election and referendums. The Electoral Commission is continuing to work towards delivering the election and two referendums on 19 September, which is the date set by the Prime Minister in January. Changes are being made to the way the election will be run to meet the public health requirements for COVID-19.
