Aphasia usually occurs suddenly, often following a stroke, but it may also develop slowly, as the result of a brain tumour or a progressive neurological disease. The disorder impairs the expression and understanding of language as well as reading and writing. Simon Lim featured Lim Hai Yen on "NIGHTS WITH SIMON" (ONE FM 91.3) in which she shared her experience as an Aphasia patient. Hai Yen is the Artistic Director of The ETCeteras. https://www.facebook.com/TheETCeteras Listen to Hai Yen's personal story regarding Aphasia and her journey to recovery.
