View descriptionShare

Irecent years there has been an increase of construction of data centres in the world, however there seems to be lack of diversity in the sector. Worldwide, only 19% of women hold tech-related work positions while men only hold 81%.

However, this could be an impediment to the industry as the gender gap could create a lack of future development in the creation of innovations reflecting diversity.

According to Dr Jan Mentz, Academic Dean at Belgium Campus iTversity diversity and the inclusion of women is a key way to inject sustainability in the data centre sector on the continent the world.
