According to Statistics SA, there were around 3.3 million people who met the United Nations’ definition of persons living with a disability as of 2022. Yet only 1.3% of the South African workforce has a disability.

Maccauvlei Learning Academy says when businesses exclude people with disabilities, they’re not just failing individuals, they’re losing out on diverse perspectives, innovation, and an immense talent pool that could drive economic growth.
