The Internet has become an essential part of daily life for many people around the world.

It provides access to information, education, entertainment, and communication.

However, access to the Internet is not available to everyone, particularly those living in rural communities.

For people living in those areas, lack or poor Internet access isn't just an inconvenience, it keeps them in poverty, blocks access to important information, and limits access to opportunities.

We spoke to telecomms analyst, Spiwe Chireka about this.
